Amanda was born and raised in Acadiana. She obtained her undergraduate degree from UL Lafayette in 2014, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She completed graduate school at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport where she attained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2018. Amanda is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is licensed to practice by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants (LAPA).
She has experience in various specialties and subspecialties, including family medicine. “Being a PA has allowed me to do everything I have ever wanted; I love when I treat a patient and they come back saying how their life improved because of it.” When she’s not in the office, Amanda enjoys traveling to new places and spending time with her husband, puppy, family, and friends.
